headlights

I am replacing my headlights on my 07 lx sedan, the thing is, I am having trouble getting to the last few screws that hold in the headlight. I did not get to take off the full bumper, because I do not have ramps for my car to lift it up, also I did not get to take off all the plastic rivets (or whatever you call'em) because they are so damn hard to get off. Now I know people have already posted things about taking off the front bumper, but is there something I'm missing? Is it really necessary to take off all the bumper to just take out the headlight? I wanna take out the headlight and then pop the new ones in, which look effin bad ass by the way. Also, anyone have any experience installing halos? I need to know how to connect the halo lights to the car, my friend was going to wire it to the accessory light. Any tips?

can't speak for lx's cuz i'd hate for it to bite me in the butt, but when i did the lights on my si you have to take the bumper off, there is a bracket that runs along the bottom of the lights, the bumper clips into it also. The bolt for the outside of this bracket also hold in the corner of my lights. The bumper is stupid easy to drop though takes minutes.
one screw in each fenderwell right at the seam of the bumper, points straight up. Couple of PITA bumper clips along the front bottom of the bumper. Two allen bolts through the grill. After those give a tug on the edge of the bumper at the fender seam. Grab through you lower grill and give it a pull the whole thing'll drop off in your hands and you'll see the bolts on the bracket.

you HAVE to take off the bumper.

you dont need to lift the front of the car to take the bumper off. You just gotta climb under the bottom and take off the 10 clips. Look at collegehillshonda.com 's fog light installation instructions. It will explain it perfectly.

I also have an LX Sedan and taking the bumper off is not so hard ( the 2nd time around). I've been thinkin about changing my headlights for about a week and decided to just do it. First time was a mess because i couldn't get those bumper screws out. (I think i broke 3 of them already) but got my new headlights installed. I am a noob when it comes to car stuff, but you gotta try it to learn it. Goodluck on yours.
