idea for heavier stock shift knob

hey i got an idea.....if you go to any sporting goods store you can get lead tape strips in the tennis dept. for balancing rackets....take your stock knob off...find a place to put the lead tape and there ya go! a weighted shift knob for prolly like 10 15 bucks max.
im gonna do it sometime this week but i think it would work....sorry if it doesnt

yeah, it will make it higher and all that, but with all that counterweight, its a good trade

you know how stupid that would look???? and why the crap would you melt lead in the hole? you wouldnt even gain .02 ounces..... leads not heavy and by not screwing it down all the way you would give yourself a longer throw! what were you thinking?????

okay jesus it was just an idea...and it wouldnt look stupid because i would find a place to put it after taking off the knob. and melting it may work if you take off the locking nut

or rather than spending $10 on a ghetto mod, you could spend $30 more and get a real weighted knob from skunk2......

If you're good with needle and thread, take off the leather, put the lead strips under there, and rethread it so it hides the strips.

I like this idea, as I prefer the stock shift knob over the Skunk2.
But I don't like it as much as my ARC. Or my Spoon Sports.

You could always use the old school muscle-car style 8-ball... I guess for us we should be using a 4-ball instead but thats not as cool at all lol...
