i like it. I wanted to do this a while ago then I saw someone with it already and decided its not original anymore lol.

I like it because it is intimidating

Thanks! Unfortunately this mod came with an unexpected price... while un-screwing the screws on the backside of the grill my ratchet driver backed into the A/C Condenser, poking a hole into it.

So now this will cost me at least $150 to buy a new one, and my labor to replace. Lesson learned!

Thanks. I haven't seen it yet...it's hard to do anything custom to a ride now-a-days without it being done already, unless you don't mind spending tons of cash. It's my wifes ride anyways, she wanted it and I did it. I stay with classics cars.

Wet-sanded the gray bottom portion of the grill with 400 grit sand paper, cleaned it with wax & grease remover, then sprayed it with high gloss krylon. Then for the red stripe I used red caliper paint and hand pinstriped it on after laying down blue fine line tape...cleared it afterwards....

I took it all off and apart....thats how I managed to back my ratchet wrench into the A/C Condenser...so this is a $150 mod!
