It is a real nice scheme but I didn't realize someone on here from NY has the same scheme as my wifes ride. I did hers in Texas. So eventually i'm gonna change it up.

Let me know what weekend you have in mind and I'll check my schedule to see if I'm open. I have tons of family n friends looking to see me and hang out before I leave. Plus my wife and kid that I'll be leaving behind. So the schedule is pretty busy. Just let me know. It's a pretty easy mod.

Yea, I'll have to see. This weekend would have been good, but military comes first. Is it possible for early Saturday the 13th? or even Sunday the 14th?

Your gonna need to get:

Fine line tape (depends on you on how thin you want your line)
Regular painters masking tape
Premium quality high gloss black spray paint
Premium quality high gloss red spray paint
-- I used red caliper paint for this, so it doesn't fade to pink and stays glossy...up to you. Or you can choose a red pinstripe.
Premium quality "non-yellowing" clearcoat spray paint
Alcohol (to clean surface)
Short stubby, long, and very small philips screwdrivers
Flathead screwdriver
Wet/dry 3M 400 grit sandpaper

Oh and before I forget...you need to find a place to do this. If this were my place I wouldn't care. It's the wifeys grandfathers place so...it's a different story. Plus he has tons of guns and I don't feel like getting shot over this.

Try autozone. If you have no luck I'll be over at my old workplace today at 1200pm ( Quality Auto Body ) in Vailsgate, and I'll ask my buddy for the fineline tape.

You can copy it, I don't mind.

Oh, If you choose to go with the red caliper paint you'll also need to get like two foam brushes. The most expensive items on the list are the caliper paint which I paid like $15.99 for and the spray cans like $6 a piece. everything else is pocket change.

Nothing special. Just about anywhere will do. As long as we have the supplies and a place to wetsand/paint the grill we are set.

cool.

We can wash out the wash bucket no need to buy another one...unless you want to. Go ahead and read that link I posted on here up to the point where the grill is separated into 3 pieces just to get familiar with it. That's how much we will be doing to paint the grill. I'll get with you again here real soon. I'm about to get ready to head out to Vails gate to have lunch with a fellow co-worker. I'll see if I can get some fine line tape. What's your address? Do you want me to swing by after lunch?

Yup.

The front lip is attached to the factory bumper. Comes off in one piece. Check out the link and you'll see.
