Just performed this fix on my 08 Si and my popping sounds are gone!

If it hasn't already been mentioned, I recommend a good assortment of angled wrenches. Especially for the driver's side bolts that you access from under the car! They're a nightmare.

You probably over tightened them. I think the point of this tsb is to fix over-tightened bolts bot to make them tighter, that will make things worse.

Can loose rack cause clunk noise on bumps while driving straight, and not just while turning? I have been facing this issue since long time, and almost all suspension parts are changed by now, so suspecting primarily on rack mount

Not seeing images

I'd like to try this DIY on our 2010 Civic but I'm not seeing any images with the step by step instructions. Are they still there?

Thanks,
Thomas

Just replaced my front sway bar bushings, ended up being the problem the whole time.

Another thing to look at would be the steering rack bushing.

Thanks so much for the write up. Very easy to figure out once you start looking at it with the pictures and description. And it stopped that annoying clunking noise too!

Overall fairly easy to do aside from the limited space to work.

Hard to say how long it would have taken me including jacking up the car and what not as I was doing other things too. But I'd say maybe an hour. Faster if I was in a rush.
