i've posted previously stating the smae problem we are all having. since i havent the time to actually get to my dealer the noise is getting progessively worse. When turing the steering wheel i used to only hear creaking when making a tight turn or parking. now i can hear is most of the time. Also can anyone tell me why when i go over a speed bump it sounds like something in my suspension is creaking...possible needs to be re-lubed??? anyone

Covered under warranty.

I tried to tighten the 6-bolts yesterday... couldn't get them tighter.

I did not want to loosen them... if I could not get them tighter than they already are

It's not about getting them tighter, its about loosening all 6 bolts, and letting the steering rack "settle" into place, and then tightening them up again.

Question: Since a torque wrench won't fit. Is it ok just to tighten them as much as you can?
