If you have a Lowe's or Ace hardware near you, give them a call. I bought the lexan I used for this at Lowe's. |

Just got a hair-line crack on my OEM fogs. Has the car for 10 months till this happened. I wonder if anyone in the Toronto/GTA would want to do a Spring repair/replace fogs weekend. I bet there will alot of us who whould have busted fogs by then. Just a thought.

Not to thread jack or dis-credit this awesome write-up, but for the lazy people sucha s myself I had a slight crack from a rock and every two to three months. I take some clear fingernail polish and well it works just fine no condensation or nothing.

I didn't take your post as either a thread jack, or as dis-crediting. I'm glad clear fingernail polish works for you- the problem I had was much more severe. after both lenses getting nailed by rocks multiple times and actually having cracks in them, I couldn't simply seal them up with Nail polish (which is an absolutely great idea!). |

I got my hands on a pair of cheap fogs, they seem to be ebay/k2 motors fogs. They have yellow lens. I have following questions:
1. Should I order yellow polycarbonate before even installing the original lamps to avoid future pain in the a$$? Also, the above mentioned link, Warehoused Plastic Sales Inc.: Toronto Ontario source for Acrylic, Lexan, Plexiglas, Polycarbonate, UHMW and other Plastic Fabrication Materials , do they have an option to precut and ship it... If so anyone care helping me with dimensions.... 2. This is off the topic, but can anyone suggest me a thread where i can find, what exact parts I need to connect the K2 fogs/ebay fogs making that dash light work... I think a factory harness is needed for that, but does that mean I need to get whole new factory harness or just a few parts ? (like 08 steering wheel stalk, etc) Thanks and in advance. |

So I received my ebay fogs package yesterday. Like everyone has mentioned that the glass of their fogs cracked/shattered... The ebay fogs i received already haveYellow Plastic Lens....
Would they be good enough to withstand 35watt HID ? |

HID bulbs will be easier on the lenses than standard halogen bulbs due to less UV radiation and slightly lower temperatures.
