should i try cutting the pink and light blue wires and re insert them into the harness plug?

get rid of the cut up part of the wires?!

did you ever get your issue resolved? I dont have an answer, but am about to install mine this weekl

yep i cut the main pink wire too much when i used the T taps as well as my fuse blew out..

thanks to the OP i changed the fuse as well as bridged the main wire with some extra 18 gague wire and it worked fine..

i still have yet to try to install it again..

install isnt that hard. its same procedure as tapping into the dome light wires. search on some of the Dome light DIY and you will get alot more pictures

you can't buy it anymore. but you can make one that is kinda like an e-bay version. search for the DIY its here some where

I ordered two originally and it took a bout two weeks to get, I ordered a 3rd one after I received the first two and that one took a bout two weeks to get. mine were ordered last month sometime

Just got my today also....But i think i got the wrong one not sure...How do i know i got the blue one wiyhout installing it first? My ring is colored red.

I have a feeling i got the red instead of blue i ordered.

Pres you want to shime in?

your was a red color? hmmmm i think mine was a clear or white color. pics? i figured there is red lights and a clear cover and i will just find out when i install

if yours turns out to be red and mine for some odd reason turns to be white. wanna trade lol. i know you want blue but at least white will got with the blue light interior better than red lol. i got red abuse ALL my interiour lights are red except for the dome light and map lights just because i still want functionality out of them and be able to read easily

lol i wouldnt have a problem swapping...we will see.

Can i get a regullar 9v battery and check to see what color it is?
