On the video, I noticed on the skirts it has a wide metal plate bracket behind it...does that get screwed on the body of the car or 3m double side sticky tape? And how is the skirt held on to the plate, snaps to it or??

The side skirt slides over it and its held on by 3M double sided tape.

very nice. noticed when he used the jack to push it up to install the shock, is that doable without the jack? Pressure is needed to compress the spring a bit during install?

To all those who might not know the only difference for rest hfp lip is that if not from an si the exhaust tip portion is smaller.
