^ Yes, although you should still do the idle re-learn.

So i have a question? does the idle screw change the voltage at all? cause my th1 is reading at 4.53 volts?

^ Yes, the set screw changes the default throttle position, which in turn changes the sensors' reading.
4.53V is way too high.... as in, I don't think it even goes that high.
What are you grounding your voltmeter to? It should be grounded to the ground inside the harness (SG), not to the body (or elsewhere)... i.e., to get the THL1 reading, you want the voltage between pins #1 and #4; for THL2, pins #3 and #4.

^ Well, in a way, it's not totally bad that you did that.... it at least confirmed to me that the sensor ground is a floating ground as I suspected but never bothered checking

Just got my J35 throttle body in today. I will be attempting to install it w/ a P2R(P157) gasket straight onto a stock RBC IM.
The TB was already modded by the folks at Autofair Honda before shipping out to me. The voltage adjusting screw seems to have already been adjusted as it doesnt sit in the same position that the OP's did in the picture. But of course it wouldn't hurt to run the voltages myself. Hopefully everything works out and I will update my findings when the time comes.
Thanks to OP for the great information.

I had the same problem and I have been working on it since last December...
Here is the link to my thread documenting all the things I did to try and fix. HELP! Maxbore TB - throttle jumping - How to fix?

I have given up at this point...
Is yours a bored TB?
What TB are you putting in?

Yes watching through flashpro I even let it get to like 200 or whatever untill the fans came on then let it idle and that's when the rpms jump is it supposed to do that?

^ If the engine is already warm, go straight to step 6a.
Your revs are bouncing, which means the voltage is out of the allowable range (probably high). Again, start from step 6a to bring the voltage within range to stop the bouncing and then fine-tune from there. Since you are using the J35 TB, you will probably have to bring it down more due to the larger bore.

OK guys, I am having an issue that I am hoping somebody can help me out with.

I just installed a J35 TB this past weekend (along with RDX 410cc injectors). Upon starting the car up, I don't have any leaks, no CEL light, and while sitting still the idle is fine (idle without A/C is around 1100-1200 rpm, with A/C on it is between 1300-1500, depending of if the compressor is running or not). I should mention that the idle point is higher because it is set that way in Flashpro to help eliminate some vibrations that I get from my injected mounts.

Here are the issues that I am having currently:
- So, the idle when not moving is fine (maybe a bit high with the A/C on), however as soon as I start moving above 5 mph with the car in neutral, the rpm will jump between 2000-1200 rpm.
- It should also be noted that the throttle is now SUPER touchy. When driving around with barely any throttle, the car will alternate between have the throttle body slightly open, and then having it closed (so the car will start to slow down). It will do this back and forth, resulting in a "bucking" motion.
- At start up, the rpm will go to about 2500 rpm, stay there for a second, before coming back down to a normal value.
- I also seem to have more rev hang in the lower gears, but the higher gears don't seem to be as bad.

So, can you help answer my question about what I need to do to fix these issues? Do I need to go change my tune back to set the normal idle to 850rpm, or can I leave it higher and still go through these steps?

Also, the part about checking the voltage with the multimeter. Once you unplug the harness to the throttle body, are you contacting the prongs from the multimeter with the pins on the throttle body connector, or are you contacting the wires on the plug?

Thank you for your help, I greatly appreciate it!
