cleaning the inside dash, what works well?

We all know it, the dash inside panels are interesting to clean. They have sort of a texture to them, and they seem to basically eat up anything ive tried. I havent tried anything but a damp cloth yet, but i was thinking about the TW Ice inside stuff. I saw it on the jeep commercial, and have been impressed with the ICE exterior products.

Either way, i want something that goes on easy, and fast! Ive got 5 coats of cleaners/wax to put on in the coming weeks, damn mcguier 3 step :) beautiful when done though! Plus i enjoy it.

Soap and water follow by air drying and Armor All wipes. My 2 cents

In my opinion, i wouldnt use ArmorAll wipe or any type of similar product. i work with a detailing company and using such a product and leaving exposed to any amount of direct sunlight will dry out the dash and leave it greyish, then you have yourself a pain in the ass. If only ever used a damp rag with soap and warm water, or even a little bit of windex or window cleaner.

I never use Armorall or anything similar. I've been using Swiffer pads for a few years now. They attract dust and work great. If you spill something sticky on it, warm water and mild soap should do the trick.

1Z Einszett Cockpit Premium:
1Z Einszett Cockpit Premium Interior Plastic Cleaner (one of many places to buy online)

Apply to a nice microfiber and simply wipe down the whole dash. Very safe, leaves no streaks, smells nice, cleans and protects all in one. By far the best thing I have found so far.

I used a clean, dry cloth and I was surprised at how nice it turned out. Removed all my dust bunnies.

hah.. i always felt silly when doing this but it really does work great. any kind of paper towel or cloth or anything leaves behind little fuzzies. not the swiffer though!

I use Meguiars Quick interior detailer... I used to use armor-all but stopped since I'm not a HUGE fan of greasy residue. The meguiars stuff doesn't leave such a residue.

Only problem is I want something that PROTECTS the interior from harmful UV rays. I didn't read anything about Meguiars doing such a thing.

Does anyone know of a PROTECTANT that is good to use?

i use Prima Nero for the interior (matte finish than Aero303). even so some folks
claimed that on the Si's interior Nero was giving some gloss.

I recommend Griot's SpeedShine for such cars. it's a QD but it also nurishes dried
plastic quite well from my experiement.

any good OTC protectants?

EDIT: Don't care much for the shine, but if it's there, I'll just have to wipe it down...

Also, I have tried local places for the 303 aerospace stuff and nobody has it, I'd have to order it.

I hate the armor all shine that only leads to me being able to see my dash reflaectd up on the inside of my windshield. I tried the Turtle Wax Interior Ice product as well for the first time the other day, and it worls great! Surfaces look clean, no annoying greasy shine, and leaves a great smell behind.

Used to be true years and years ago. Its water based now and won't hurt anything, but it is shiny.

I usually just wipe down the dust. Then I use a mild cleaner if theres any dirty spots. I follow up with Poorboy's Natural Look. It gives it that detailed look but without the shine. It usually lasts for about 3 months
