I never trust a single thing from Consumer Reports. So damned biased... it's all about the all mighty dollar.

I used black magic wet shine but it goes bad in the bottle after a few few months, turtle wax is decent but hard to get of.Im now using Meguirs cleaner polish wax and it makes your car glow.

I've tried a lot of waxes and they all have their plusses and minuses. I have the Menzerna twins (that I REALLY like) and Klasse's AIO and High Gloss Sealant Glaze. I'm not nearly as happy with the Klasse stuff as I am with the Menzerna though. The HGSG is a royal PITA to apply and remove evenly. Most of the time I find myself using the stuff left over from the PALLET of stuff Meguiar's sent me when I showed my Passat. It's easy to use, looks great and I can't beat the price.

Zymol sells an aged carnauba wax for a few thousand dollars on Amazon.com. You have to melt it with body heat first, and apply only by hand. I don't think its worth the money, of course.

Pinnacle Souveran Concours Wax is considered the "best", at around $80/jar. But like all great waxes, you are sacrificing durability for shine.

I use P21S Concours Wax, around $40/jar. It's a very good balance overall, recommended by Autopia.org!

I swear by NXT Liquid Wax then NXT Speed Detailer(Or Quick Detailer which ever one I find first) in between wax's. Makes the car look great and lasts quite awhile.
