Zaino lasts longer too
The initial application is fairly time-consuming, OTOH, after that it is quick, and it is VERY easy to polish off, unlike some waxes. Another advantage is the Zaino lasts longer than other waxes and polishes I've tried. And I've tried many. Bottom line: if you want the very best, you should at least try their products. Virtually unanimous support on the TL forum.
(My last ride was a Nighthawk Black Pearl Acura TL 6MT, a challenging but beautiful black paint with traces of purple in some lights...) |

is this a zaino thread?
i use NXT and i like it.... i was my nbp 06 every other day if i can, but use the nxt spray was every saturday/sunday(once a week)...if weather permits. I've been happy with it so far. the shine is great, if it rains i've noticed the car dries without water spots....that is crzy cuz i've never seen that before...only the spoiler has mild water spots but the rest of the car is spotless. i now intend to use the liquid nxt wax once a month... yeah it may be over kill...my car is black and i'd like it to remain that way... i've noticed that the nxt gets rid of minor swirls also.

I want to try Zaino, but what do I need to buy exactly? I have never waxed a car as my other's were POSs, but I would love to use Zaino on my si to see how it looks. Plus I hate water spots. I use this really good Meguirs car wash if that counts. Haha.

I use NXT wax and swear by it. I'm shocked it got that low of a score to be honest, as I found it to be extremely durable and long lasting.
And I do love my claybar. |

Zaino is definetly worth the cost and time. I had the fiji blue and it made a huge difference in the finish. My dad spent $300 on some special Zymol carnuba wax and it didn't come close to Zaino. After crashing my blue one with 1,250 miles, I got lucky enough to purchase a habanero red one and the finish with Zaino is unbelievable.

I looked all over town (Autozone, NAPA, Walmart, etc) for the Black Magic wax. Then I asked my buddy who works at Advance Auto Parts. He didn't find it right away, but they had it on clearance for 3.50. He said it was going to be discontinued. Maybe they will just change the packaging, who knows? But, if you like this stuff, pick it up.
*Waiting for a non humid day to do some waxing :/ |

I like Liquid Glass on new car finishes. It's more a of a glaze coat than anything else, but it lasts and shines, especially after 2 coats are applied. It is NOT a cleaner wax, so if the finish is real rough, use 3M hand rubbing compound or something b/4 using Liquid Glass.

I am a professional detailer myself, being hired by GM Canada to detail Cadillacs, Corvettes, SSR's, etc. There is no simple solution. I find the easier it is to apply a product (easy on wax sprays), the faster the protection will fade. NOTE: sorry for the double posting, I'm used to forums that allow you to add information while still posting under the same post. |

I've used Zaino for about 6 years now on 8 of my Hondas/Acuras and will use nothing else. A 2-3 hour effort is adequate for a whole year! Having used Zymol, other Carnauba waxes, Mothers, STP etc in the past, Zaino is by far the longest lasting. You can also "tune" the amount of depth you want by using different numbers of coats and different "versions" of their liquids.
I also find Zaino is easier to apply and polish off in addition to using less per application than others. |

Sorry to argue the point but I just got some zaino after having used mequires gold class, nxt tech, and zymol.
I found that if you wash your car with dish soap to strip all the crud off then clay your car any wax is great but Zaino with Zfx is amazing. All you have to do is put about 1/3 z2pro or z5pro into the mixing bottle and add 4 drops of zfx shake wait shake a bit more and apply to the whole car. It dries like all the others takes the same time but goes on even easier because you don't have to try to push around this thick wax. Now just remove and wow it even comes off easier. Then step back and be blown away by the super shine. If you want more use z8 i skipped the z6. but z8 will not work as a quick wax. It just smears. z6 is good for removing that fine dust. If the car is dusty just micro rag it and then z8. I did 3 coats on my car in pretty short time and the results were beyond any car wax i've ever used. By the way www.zainostore.com. Yeah it really doesn't cost any more then what you already pay. PS everyone I know thought I got a paint job! 2001 accord got any questions email me civics2@midmaine.com |
