It's possible your paint is beyond the capabilities of ScratchX and it may require polishing by machine. I have seen ScratchX remove most typical swirls and cob-web scratches though. You have to make sure you are working it long enough to break down the polish all the way. Tape off a 10" x 10" section with blue painters tape and work the polish until it turns clear...it should look almost like you were rubbing vascilene on the paint when it's broken down. If you don't allow it to break down all the way it will probably leave swirls in itself.

Maybe check out this thread too...

maybe use some MF pads or just take it to a professional detailer.

LOL....that package says tampons on it!

You should be using a foam applicator like this.

The ScratchX should be able to remove most of those swirls too. Try the foam applicatior, make sure you are working it long enough and maybe tape off a section to see if it is removing them like the below pic. It may take more than one application too.

Yeah I have hundreds of them.

All are by Machine though....why do it by hand when you have 3 different styles of polishers.

Here is a NBP Si

No. While ScratchX can now be used will a polisher it is meant to be used by hand. I have other Meguiars products for machine use that are more aggressive. The results using ScratchX will not be as dramatic but you will still see a definite improvement. Look at the meguiars like above at the difference it made by hand.

Thanks.

I will add that I would never want to ScratchX a whole car.

Asa if a Porter Cable or G110 is in your budget it would be a wise investment.
