Best Spot Free Soap??

i am in the process of searching this, and i know the best way to go spot free is drying the car yourself, but just for a quick wash, what is the best soap out there that dries, well, allows the rinse water to dry "spot free"... i'm not gonna narrow down to any types of car wash soap, i just want some opinions and past experiances with soap that you fellow 8th geners have had. thanks in advance....

Not sure about "spot free" because I always dry mine immediately but the Meguiars Gold Class is pretty good stuff.

i actually like the turtle wax ICE car wash. its really decent for the price and i notice little to no water spots. i always hand dry but sometimes if the sun beats me to it, it dries nicely. if there are spots left over i just use my wizards mist and shine to get rid of them. i did get some wizards car wash the other day, and i got great results from that. but for the money, cant beat the ice!

You know, you might want to check out that Mr Clean autodry thing. A friend of mine has one of those and really likes it. He said it works real well but I can't speak from experience myself. Might want to check it out tho.

The spots you see on the car have to do with the water you use. All the minerals including calcium create spots.

Mr. Cleans Autodry wash. I"ve been using it for a few years and I love it. Wash the car, rinse it off with the special filtered spray and let it dry with no spots! I use the Pro series

Mr. Clean AutoDry Pro-Series

Alot of it has to do with the water like they said and the time you wash itm etc...try to wash it in the shade always, etc....They sell an inline filter you can use to filter your water to help prevent spotting. Believe it or not I use a blower that filters warm air to get all the water from my rims, windows, etc....works awesome for me.

I have the Mr Clean auto dry
its a rinse, soap, drying hose nossle all in one
in the beginning it used to work
it uses a filter to do the job but the replacements are pretty pricey.
but it does seem to work.
im going to look into the turtle wax ICE car wash

yah, i would suggest the autodry or get a deionizer.

ShowCarDetailing has some, i think. he also started selling a portable 12v
low pressure washer. which means you can put your distilled water in it and do
the final rinse.

for me, i get lake michigan water and it's not too bad. during the rinse i let the
hose nozzle to pour out (not spray out) and let the water just sheet off. almost
all water just rolls off. probably the best and quickest way to have a non-stained
dry panel. then i take my towel and either blot dry (hobby car), or use some Prima
Hydro and wipe dry.
