Hand Polishing stock exhaust.

I got some Mother's Mag and Aluminum Polish awhile back for my old civic valve cover. I did wonders for my valve cover.

I was wondering how well it would work with a stock exhaust. So I took my mom 2002 Accord and polish the stock exhaust with Mother's Mag and Aluminum Polish. One hour and 30min later, this is what I got.

My old civic engine.

If you want to stick with your stock exhaust but want to add a little shine to it, go buy some Mother's Mag and Aluminum Polish and polish away.

Man I have had a container of that stuff for years...I keep meaning to polish my tip, thatnks for reminding me to do so...

I think the polish works with all kinds of metal.

Did the exhaust tip you tried it on have streaks in the metal from when it was formed?
