Dent in hood...

Ok, so long story short someone sat on my hood yesterday on my LX Sedan and it got dented a little bit. It's not an actual crease or anything like that, more of a small "depression" in the top center part of the hood. You can really only see it if light's reflecting off it, and you can see that it's not reflecting evenly on that area. Is this worth taking to a body shop to straighten out, or just leave it be?

I opened it, but the depression is under the part where the underhood frame runs right underneath (that little section of frame that runs down the center of the hood). Unless maybe I can stick something under that.

Best thing that works and as funny as it is, a plunger works great. Have done it before on a car and after it looks like it is brand new. Trust me it works. Dry the area good then put the plunger on it and pull it fast.

What about that dry ice/compressed air trick that I see talked about occasionally? Was that ever proven to be true or false around here? I figure something like that would work best on a very light dent.

Paintless dent removal. Depending on the skill of the person doing the work. You might not be able to tell at all afterwards.

I would say this is the way to go. I had a dent right on the crease below where it says civic on the trunk lid, and got it taken out by a paintless dent removal and now you can't even tell. I was amazed it turned out so well considering it was right on the crease line!
