First time leather treatment, big difference!

Hey all, was finally a nice day out today so I decided to treat my new baby I picked up Saturday to a nice leather treatment/protection for the leather seats. I was quit surprised how dry and "flat" the leather was when I picked up the vehicle. After seeing what happens to leather after use and lack of care, I made it a point to make sure I take care of my leather from the get go.

I've been using Meguiars leather wipes for years with very good results. It goes on smooth and even while give a nice aroma to the leather and minimizes the mess and waste of a gel or spray type.

After about an hour, here are the results, much better IMO. Instead of a dark gray, now it actually looks like black.

Looks good, I wouldn't go with the leather unless it was red stitched and had the Si on the seats...

i have tried both the wipes and the spray bottle and both are very good, the only down falls to the wipes is that you hand get greasy and if you dont seal the wipes back up properly they tend to dry out. i prefer the spray for those reasons.

1. Wash hands after use
2. Close top lid

How hard is that?

Yes, thats the protective film. Once it sits and cures for a few hours, its fades away slightly

Ohhh. I noticed the same characteristics with my NXT interior tech protect. It makes my dash shiny once i apply it, then the next day it's slightly matte. I kinda like it shiny at first so I can see where I applied it.

I use the spray version of it with a MF towel. I will go back over the seats with a clean dry MF towel a little later and wipe them down. I don't like the gloss either and wiping them with the dry MF seems to help a lot. The smell is great though.

I've also have Lexol but I think I like the Meguiars better.

Do you happen to have any shots of after the leather is cured? I kind of liked the original color so am hesitant to try if its going to look greasy at the end.
