Removed sunroof visor,how do I get the marks off?

Removed my visor today because I got tired of not being able to clean under it,and it left a very faint line in the clear coat.Is there a way to get it out without having to buff the whole roof?

How long was it on, any pics?

It was on for about 11,000 miles,and no pics.You can see the outline if you look at it right.Mostly,its barely noticable.

I hate to say, 11k is quite a while, you might be able to buff some of that out but some of it has probably gone down to the paint. Without pics I can't be sure , but I did have mine on for about 5k, took it off to clean under it, and my roof was crazy scratched. That was even after I waxed and cleaned the car every week.
