Well since my Si had leather I haven't been able to play around with the cloth materials on the Si yet. You could try a cleaner and maybe rubbing over it with an upholstery brush but honestly I don't think there is anything that can make it like new again. It's simply worn, not dirty. ![]() |

For scratches I would use ScratchX. Here is a good link on how to use it. The Definitive ScratchX Thread Collection - Car Care Forums: Meguiar's Online |

It will depend on the elements your car is subject too. I'd say once every other month but I personally would not go that long. If you park outside and live in a sunny state or the Snow Belt I do it more often. Cars simply look better with a coat of wax after washing, even if you just waxed it a week prior. At the very least I use a detail spray after I wash. Hope this helps....you should try the new NXT 2.0 |

I used it a long time ago but it was on a lighter colored car. I guess I can't say anything bad about it. It went on and off easy and felt smooth. Are you looking to buy it because it says it lasts a long time on the bottle or just becasue someone else recommended it?

ever heard of Heller Glanz Carnuba Cream for boats / etc. I'd like to put the hardest, strongest protection on my TL-S's front bumper to protect against tiny rock chips...
i have Mothers carnuba at home, don't know if it will give it strong enough protection... |

Ohh well I've got one. Prolly gonna need a picture, but I'll try this first.
Few months ago I noticed a quite large bug that had hit against my hood and splattered on it. Right when I saw it, I cleaned it right away. After that, I noticed an orange spot on my paint that will NOT come off. Tried claying, waxing, cleaning, nothing. It's not like it's on the paint, it looks like it's in the paint. Almost as if it was ink or something. Ever hear of anything like that? |

![]() All kidding aside, that discoloration indicates that an enzyme in the bug possibly ate through the clear coat, causing the discoloration. I am going to leave this to Rasky, but I am wondering what would happen if you put a little bleach or Hydrogen Peroxide on a Q-tip and gently swabbed the area?
