when you run your fingers over it....can you feel the scratch?

If not, use some "scratch x" then after about 7-8 washings over a short period of time, you will hardly notice it.

scratch x is awesome! As long as the scratch does not catch your fingernail as you run it across the area, you should be able to get it out. Just be mindful that you need to apply some serious elbow grease and also apply it to the area 4-6 times to get out serious scratches you should be good to go. I went ballz out trigger happy with some touching up and went overboard. It was my first experience with touch up paint and wet sanding and I oversanded the first few of like 20 spots ( I know I'm retarded). Fortunately with enough effort scratch x got all of the hazing out from oversanding. I don't notice anything but the fact that honda oem touch up paint SUCKS A$$ and does not match the original paint. My car is habi red so you blacks and whites might have more luck.. I put alot of miles on this car and I plan on keeping it for half a million miles or so paint is not a big deal. I can live with ugly as long as it doesn't rush and a new paint job would be a necessity for it eventually.
Anyways long story short scratch x won't hurt anything and chances are if the scratch is not a gouge you will get it out!

btw if you really need to touch up spots it doesn't look that bad just be sure to use pen tool on the paint applicator or use a tooth pick to thinly spread the paint else you will end up with a very noticable spot!

scratch's blow the best thing you can do is just let them go, then invest in re-painting the whole area when it gets totally worse.
