Bird Crap Problem!!!

Ok so I drove up to the San Francisco for a job interview and a bird crapped on my trunk. I did not know this until about a week and a half later when I washed my car. So anyways I washed off the bird crap, alot of it came off, but some of it stuck to the paint. I tried using all the detailer solutions, vinegar/water and scrubbing with a microfiber towel but none of it is coming off. This is so annoying because on my past cars I've left bird crap on my car for months and it's come off fine without ever damaging my paint, but this stuff just won't come off and it hasn't even been two weeks. What do you guys recommend??

Has anyone tried using Goo Gone and is it safe for car paint??

Bird dung isn't "GOO". I wouldn't use anything on my paint that isn't made for it.
It sounds to me like it's worked itself into the surface. It only takes a couple of days baking in the sun. All doo-doo's are not created equal, so despite your past experience in how long those doo-doo's sat on the surface w/o damage (even assuming it's the same car) are irrelevant.
Does it look to be above the surface or in the surface? Pics would be great. It's probably got to be buffed out though. You could probably get away with using a hand polish like scratch X or similar to remove it. (made for paint BTW)

Yeah I got most of it off but it seems some of it went through the paint. Because when I rub my hand through it feel smooth like the areas around the spot, but it is discolored. SIGH ******' BIRDS, so pissed right now. Stupid bird shit wasn't even on my car for that long and my car sits inside of an underground parking garage pretty much all day. The only time I've taken it out this past two weeks was when I went to the job interview and this past weekend when I washed it. **** I'm so pissed right now.
