Any Wax OK to use below 40 degrees?

IIRC my NXT paste wax says do not apply in temps below 40. Does anyone know of an OTC wax (paste or liquid) that I could apply on one of these 36-38 degree days? It doesn't have to be excellent, just something being better than nothing that is on there now...

I'm no detailing expert, but my approach would be to use some sort of spray-on wax until the weather gets better. It's quick to apply and it should give you just enough protection until your next wash. When the weather gets better, give your baby the NXT it deserves.

Yeah, that's what I was thinkin... I just don't want something that will freeze to the surface before the wipe process. Poor thing hasn't ever seen NXT. I just picked it up on Wed. nite and it was 2 degrees that day. The next day I was going to wax in in my parents garage but it was only 4 degrees.

It wont freeze unless it's 32 degrees. Not 34 or 33 degrees, but 32 degrees.

I just washed and waxed my car yesterday. It was ~45 degrees. I used Black Magic. It was freakin cold. I probably would do it again, but not if it's colder than 45.

VQ Power and I are using Mother's Reflections detailing spray wax. Has worked well below 40 degrees. If the sun is out, even if it is in the high 20's you can still do your car.

BTW, I have a thread about washing your car in the winter w/o needing to rinse: Car washing in the winter without a carwash
