Do you recommend I clay bar, polish, & wax my 2 week-old civic? Or it's too early?

How about clay bar? Should I clay bar my new car? It's only 2-weeks old.

If not, can I just go straight to waxing after washing my car?

Amen to that. Claybar first. Trust me, you'll see why after you're done. Heh. Mine was filthy, and the resulting shade of GG was actually a bit more metallic in sheen.

You would be amazed at how much paint contamination even a new car has.

Ya. Use dawn instead of car wash detergent. Dawn will help strip all existing wax.

That's about the only time you should use soaps like Dawn, since it sucks all the oils and good stuff out of your finish and moldings.

If you do use dawn, I would recommend washing it with actual carwash soap after.
so then it would be dawn, carwash soap wash, clay. etc..
you can probably get away without using carwash but i have a feeling it will really dry out the paint causing water spots to come easily, compared to using car wash soap. just food for though

have fun!

Ya. Only use dawn when you're prepping your car for clay process. Otherwise use regular cash wash to wash your ride.

Waxes and Sealants are not the same, although they achieve the same effect.

A wax is a "natural" sealant made from mostly organic ingredients (carnauba wax from carnauba trees, or "tree of life" as it's called). A "Sealant" is a synthetic/chemical sealant. Because they're chemical, they're usually engineered to last longer and as far as I know, always come in liquid form.
