Meguires Ultimate detailer

Hey guys, just thought I'd share my experiance on a new product with you. I just picked up Megires new ultimate detailer. Now if your a fan of the quick detailer like I am this stuff is a must. I have a NHBP FG2 and i am a stickler when it comes to keeping it clean. I was in pep boys the other day picking up some new microfiber cloths and I saw it. Bought it and was so impressed with the results I had to make a thread about it. I have used all kind of different stuff;turtle wax ice spray, black magic detailer, simoniz cleaner etc. This stuff rules all. It goes on better than the old quick detailer and comes off like a fresh coat of wax. No kidding, go check it out at any autoparts store they should have it. Here is a link that explains it
http://www.meguiars.com/?car-mainten...-Quik-Detailer
Have fun with it I know I do

The main difference I have noticed is the way the product sprays and comes off. Not only does it clean and polish the paint but it wipes off twice as easy as any other product on the market and it has an awsome durability. Another thing I have noticed is that with the microfiber towels the new stuff doesent trap dirt and get all funky as quickly. I use one side for wipeing and the other side to finish off the streaks and its not the same with this I can use a folded dry towel for the whole car without any problems(i.e buildup, trapped dust, saturation from the spray)and the nozzle sprays really fine so it is easy to contol the amount you put on the car, which saves product. Hope that helps, I have a feeling this is going to be a huge thread because when others try this stuff and see whats up its going to be an absolute must have. Something about it just clicks with our type of clearcoat and paint.

I ask too..
what's the major difference b/w this one and MG's Quik Detailer? (besides coming in smaller quantity for a higher price?)
Sounds exactly like what happens when I use my Meguiars product now. Not knocking it, just need to justify paying a lot more for something that does the same thing. (Already use NXT stuff)

once again, the new ultimate detailer has a waaayyy better shine, goes on and off much much better and is much easier to use. It actually feels like a wax once you wipe it off. Im not impressed with most products but I gaurantee if some one else gets it and uses it they will never go back to any other spray. This is just one mans opinion. Oh and by the way it is $9 with a $5 mail in rebate. So it is cheaper actually.

Don't assume that prices in Canada are the same as in the US and , there is no rebate offer. So it ain't cheaper actually. PLUS! It's not available in Stores in Canada, only from Meguiars Canada in Mississauga. so nahhh.. *grins*

I'm planning to go to Buffalo this weekend. Mayb I can buy it there since they don't sell it here in Toronto.

Are Meguiar products more cheaper in the States? If so, how much cheaper is it compared to regular CDN prices?

check out meguiarscanada.com

you'd have to check CT, Walmart for prices.

this stuff works great! i have detailed cars for years & this is, by far, the best product i have used.... i have a taffeta white si & generally white cars are pretty dull in shine, however, after using this product after several washes, my TW si's paint ALWAYS looks shiny & the dirt just washes right off when it rains....also it beads like crazy now too....

i have tried
Meguiars 34 (from the professional line)
Meguiars Quik Detailer
&
Zymol Quick Detailer....

this is the best.

wal*mart had is mismarked to $4.xx so i took advantage..

You should check out Meguiars "Last Touch" detail spray in their detailer line.

$16.99 for a gallon which dilutes 1:1 so you actually get 2 gallons! Plus it works awesome as a clay lube. It smells like pina colada's too!

Hey now.. you can't open that can of worms and not give us the full skinny on all those products listed on the site!

I have specific products in mind, but a full report would be exceptional! Like how does one product compare to what us normal newb detailers buy OTC.
