Should I do more then 1 coat of wax on my car?

Its about 3 weeks old and I did the whole detail today..

Clay bar

then the Maguire's 3 step program but I used the nxt wax for the last step and it looks amazing.

My question is.. its raining right now so I have the option to get up tomorrow and add another layer of wax or two but I wasn't sure if it was very beneficial. Any advice for me?

Meguiar's said anything more than 3 coats of NXT is fruitless.

I used three coats the last time I used NXT and it beaded like the day I waxed it for over a year.

Hahaha, that's the "new shoe" syndrome. I think it's because it's always pretty good weather right before it rains. Anyway, I *always* put 2-3 coats when I polish up the car. With Zaino (and I believe NXT) the more coats can net you a deeper shine (though Zaino is known for its "flatness", I'd say). That said, put more, it doesn't hurt, and if you have time to do it, why not?

Yeah no joke, I spent over 5 hours on it today whats a couple more

The funny thing is about 3 hours in it starts raining like crazy and we have 40%+ for the next 4 days but I want to protect the paint now instead of 2 weeks down the road where there is dirt caked all over it.

My first Zaino job was a 13 hour affair. My neighbor works with me. He saw me start, and he saw me STILL working after a 9 hour shift. HAHAHAHA.

It might turn out to be a bit more. I am debating on taking off my wheels and waxing them, and I still havent done my door seals etc either.
