2 weeks, 13 days of rain and 1 wash later...

I made a thread about Turtle Wax Ice a couple of weeks ago and just wanted to show how it's holding up after 2 weeks, 13 straight days of rain/dirt/grime and one wash...

Just after waxing...

2 weeks, 13 days of rain and a wash later...

Personally, I feel it is holding up well, car is nice and smooth, and the water is beading nicely on it when wet.

Damn! Did you use the liquid ice or the paste? I use the liquid, I don't know if my area is just much more dusty or I drive more but yours is holding up much more than my applications. liquid or paste?

I used the liquid.

I have only put on one application so far.
It certainly seems to be holding up well that's for sure.

Believe me, my car was filthy, coated in grime and dirt from all the rain and construction we have here locally.

Im getting sick and tired of it raining here dude.... It's been non-stop and makes everyday humid like no other.

I almost want another drought....

Oh, and my car isn't holding up good. My car's been down for 3 days because I can't get the belt on. I've broken a ratchet and 2 loaner serpentine belt tools from autozone and I still cant get enough slack to put the belt on. Im going to buy the tool from Honda today. Plus I backed into something a week ago and scraped off a chunk of paint.

This damned rain is a curse!

I used this for the first time on the weekend. I also have a GG SI with the HFP wheels...used it on the wheels too. Ease of use is really great...good bye heavy polishing and dry wax dust. One small issue...I noticed a day later that the paint felt "grainy" to the touch...kind of like there were little invisible crystals on the paint. A light wash got rid of this 100% though...so no biggie at all. I also like the way it worked on plastic too...made the black look blacker. Great product.

Liked the results, hated the application process. It's like putting baby oil on your car -- easy to spread it on, hard to see which parts you've yet to cover. Buffing off was similar to Black Magic, left a slick, greasy feel. Like all polishes this doesn't have any protective properties so I layered over it with two coats of wax.
