Cleaner Wax?

So I'm gonna detail my car this weekend. My plan is to put a layer of NXT liquid wax down after I claybar it, then a layer of carnauba wax over the NXT. Since the carnauba wax I have is cleaner wax, is that ok to layer over the NXT? Or will the fact that it's cleaner wax affect the polymer wax too much?

cleaner waxes that i have used are a softer version of the swril/sratch removers. So, i'm guessing here, I think that the cleaner wax would remove your NXT wax, but once again, i'm just guessing.

So I guess layering the two waxes won't help much.

cleaner wax will partially remove the wax under it as it has abrasives.

Ack, thanks. I'll just use Meguire's 3 step instead.
