Suggestions for cleaning D2's
I need some suggestions for cleaning my Rota D2's. They are black w/polished lip. I've just been cleaning them with Meguiar's Gold Class which i use for the car. But i've been wanting to give them an extra shine/gloss, specially the chrome lip. Any ideas??? Thanks.

If there's a clearcoat on the polished lip, don't use a chrome or metal polish. You can use a regular all-purpose cleaner on the wheels to cut through the grime, but make sure you wash it away once the grime has been loosened up. Otherwise, you could damage your rims.
Ever since I waxed my rims, brake dust and grime wash away perfectly. You can use whatever wax you use on the paint, or go with specially formulated wax like: Poorboy's Wheel Sealant ![]() I use Collinite 885 Fleetwax since I'm not too fussy about gloss on the wheels, and it's one of the longest lasting wax there is on the market.
