I wouldn't recommend using the soap as a lubricant. You would have to wash the car first, then claybar the individual panels to achieve best results IMO. Basically what you're doing is rubbing all the crap back into the paint. It may work and you'll results to the naked eye and to the touch, but overtime I can foresee problems. This is just my opinion |

i was in charleston yesterday and i saw one of those cept MUCH better... it wasnt as clean as that one but it was built! twin turbo, cams, everything.... an older black guy in a suit came out and it was his... he said he drove it everyday and it had 986hp to the wheels... he popped the hood for us and everything... it was great and the dude couldnt have been any nicer which is always a plus... anyways it sounded amazing but he didnt do anything with it... he babied it like a mofo but then again i would too if it was mine...

My friend who worked for a car detailer soak it in the water. I think I just leave it in the container like you said.
I saw si_civic said that soap is not good as a lubricant because you just might stick the dirt onto the car again. What if after I wash the car, I soap it for the second time to use as a lubricant? Is it okay? |
