Thanks everyone! I'm not the best actor/actress, but I strive to do my best!
That dude who owned that Z06 is a member of Hells Angels. Nothing better to announce your presence to the police than a Z06. |

No. Just the lubricant spray (spray detailer as mentioned in the video) and the bar. $26 CDN, so around $19 US. Degreaser is cheap. Gunk makes a great degreaser. So does Simple Green. While you're at it, make sure you degrease the wheel wells as well as your tires (make sure, once again as mentioned previously... that your rims are NOT unprotected aluminum if you decide to degrease your tires and / or wells) -BiG D |

Could I just was the car with Dawn Dishwashing liquid to get rid of all the grease and accumulated wax and then use a claybar?
I have the Zaino System and Claybars. It didn't come with a Claybar Lubricant. What should I use with the claybar? Can I just use Water to lubricate the claybar? Thanks for the info and +1 Rep for a great tutorial! |

For now, here is a great link on how to properly wash a car. Includes tips for wheels and hard to reach body panels. Also includes tips of what NOT to do, and the tools NOT to use. http://www.autopia-carcare.com/inf-wash.html One tip I didn't really see in that link is how to rinse a wash mitt: RINSE FROM THE INSIDE WHERE YOUR HAND GOES!!! If you rinse from the outside, which most people do, you're just pushing the grit particles back into the mitt. -D |

thanks for the link! i have a wash mitt.. when u say rinse from the inside.. do u mean.. turn the thing inside out and rinse it that way?
how i rinse is i just jet spray the 'fur' of the mitt.. anyway i use this: Simoniz australian sheekskin it says ![]() would a Microfiber Chenille Mitt be better? I noticed the scrubbers are more spaced out so maybe its easier to get the dirt/grit out of it

Polyester scratches over time (causing swirls). I haven't tried the chenille mitt yet. Believe it or not, three hours before writing this one was in my hand at WalMart. I was about to buy one..... hmmm... -Darryl |
