i did searches on tryin to fix this problem. This b1tc* at work banged her door on my passenger side front door, leaving scratches. I'm thinking what would be the best way to not mess up the paint job and filling in the scratches. would buffing it be the best way to go? input will be greatly appreciated... :)

i would be hesitant to use any kind of touch up paint if it is in the middle of the door...it would be too noticable. just buff/polish the best you can and leave it at that. |

Sometimes if they have a white car or silver car it will look like scratched when actually its just their paint. Or sometimes it just jacked over the Clear Coat and left a white oxidation or something.
Either way, get some light and heavy rubbing compound. Just be careful when using Heavy, sometimes that stuff just strips paint!. Make sure to wax when you are done. Or a professional detailer would probably do it for no extra charge, but only cause he will charge $100 for detailing the car anyways. |
