Thanks and Pics
I just wanted to say thank you to the people that contribute to this section. I went out and picked up MF towels and the Mcguires Deep Crystal wash, wax, and the tire and wheel cleaner.
I used the two bucket method described here and the results are marvelous. This is obviously not a civic, but my daily driver is a civic, hence me frequenting these forums. I am a noob photographer, but tried to get some different angles and lighting. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Hey, yea it was dark out by the time I got done, so had to photo in garage. Was gonna photo today but it rained and was cloudy all day.
The civic is obviously much better on gas and more comfortable, but in terms of raw power the Evo is just insane. I swear I get the biggest grin on my face every time I touch the gas pedal. The break-in on the Evo sucks cause you have to be so careful with the damn gas pedal. It is extremely sensitive with the 20 pounds of boost, and the slightest touch makes the freakin thing take off. But yea, the Evo is an absolute blast to drive!!!! It was a bit more expensive then the SI but well worth it for me. I ended up picking the Evo up for $28k. It was int he showroom and still wrapped up with 5 miles on it! Anyways, thanks again for all the detailing advice, and I love the Mcguires deep crystal stuff. It rubs off so easy, made waxing the car a breeze! |

why you teasing me like that?. j/k. You know how long i've been wanting one of those cars?. The Lancer Evolution is my dream car.
I love your car bro. keep it, don't ever get rid of it cause those 7, 8, and 9's are going to be hard to find when the 10 (X) comes around. I'm jelous, and i'm NEVER jelous of ANYONE. |

10s are out lol, and much slower than the previous 8 and 9... also for the guy who wanted the V... I would definately say go for the V over the EVO.. im not bashing the EVO in any way, but my boy just picked up a silver 04 CTS-v and let me tell you, there is no comparo as far as features... he has a set of kooks headers, magnaflow catback, and cammed and that thing sound slike a topfuel dragster, will run with an evo as long as its not from a dig, much more luxiorious for the money thats like comparing two totally different classes of vehicles. V = 400bhp stock and with his mods hes prolly looking at around 425rwhp to the tires =), look for the SI and Cts-V photoshoot coming soon =) sorry to jack, nice evo though btw I was looking at them before the SI |

I'm not too much into speed or HP. I DO like HP and torque but the Evo is just a car for the longest time, i've always ever wanted.
IMO, I can't find 1 thing from bumper to bumper about the EVO I don't like. HONESTLY. Before I went to HONDA for my Si, I went to Mitsubishi and looked at the EVO's and got in an MR which is WAY outa my price range but boy oh boy did I NOT wanna get out LOL. ofcourse I had to think realistically and get the hell out of the car and lower my head in depression LOL. I'm a HONDA whore anyways and traded my 02 Ex coupe for a 07 Si coupe WHICH I'VE WANTED SINCE 98, 99, AND 2000 and finally got one. I have NO regrets but still have a place in my heart for an EVO. someday....someday. .....i'm gonna go cry now...
