Will buffing help?
well i just found out that it is a deep scratch, but ir really looks like a swirl.
i found out by running my nail over it and my nail caught the scratch. but it didnt go really deep, its jus the clear coat. so my question is, is it possible to buff it out with a buffer cuz i am feeling really sick about this. please help thanx again |

well you said that you ran your finger nail across it and it got caught...not a great sign...is the scratch white?
if its white then i would think that the best thing a buffer could do it lighten the scratch up...this would be done by heating up the scratch enough to pull the paint together...if the scratch isn't white and its only the clear coat then you might have to do the same thing with the clear coat in order to pull it back together...although i would only allow someone that really knows what they are doing to do this... ...although without seeing it im not sure how bad the scratch is... |

If your nail catches than it is likely too deep to completly remove without causing more damage. However, you could drastically improve the appearance with a little effort. A light polish will basically round over the edges of the scratch making it less visible. Then follow up with something with some filling ability (i.e. an acrylic or oil based glaze type product) and finally top with your preferred wax.
