I got one from my dealership when I got my car. they gave it to me when I purchased my car. But I've seen them at walmart for approx 5-7 dollars. Just look for our color code.

Any dealer will have NBP touchup in stock and I believe they now offer a pen/brush combo applicator.

The paint pen from the dealer has paint on one end of the pen and a clearcoat on the other end.

They work really good and have a shelf life of about a year after they are opened.

Would that paint pen be good to clean up some micro scratches on top of the car? They are minor, and no one but me notices...but *I* notice, and it drives me nuts. They are tiny, so I may just be able to buff them out next time I give the car a coat of wax, but I may pick up a Fiji Blue Pearl pen.

If they're small enough, I'd try a very fine rubbing compound first and a good wax before adding paint to my car. Many small scratches can be buffed out.
If that doesnt work, then I'd use a a toothpick with a little paint to fill in the scratch and not smear it everywhere. Followed by compound after it dries to smooth out the repair. Then wax.

I am having a full detail done on the car as soon as the weather allows, including a full pre-wax prep, so I will see how the scratches look after that. They are very tiny, you can't feel them with your fingers, so I am hoping a good buffing before we put the wax down will at the very least make them less visible.
