Question Help: A Bunch of Car Washing Questions!

I just brought my car to a carwash (100% handwash) and they waxed. Psh, waste of money. I usually wash my own car, but because I got no time and work (blah blah blah, you guys know they're excuses).

Anyway, I have a bunch of questions.

1. I noticed some water spots on the back of the car, can I removed that by just rewashing the car on my own or since they waxed it I need to remove the wax? If so, how? Also tips on how to remove water marks would be great.
2. I've had water stains on the driver side mirror and I can't seem to get them off.

Okay, that's the exterior, now the interior:

1. I have some what seems to be dust or dirt marks on the the inside driver's side door, I can't get those off too.

Those are it, any tips, help or anything would be great. I'm never trusting my car to a car washing shop, again.

Thanks.

Hi

you should try to wash the spots off. Be sure to use a clean quality microfiber cloth and use car wash soap. If they still do not come off, then i would next use a clay bar.

If that doesn't work, then come here for additional ideas. Don't use any 'abrasives'..

for the interior, try a clean micro fiber towel. if it doesn't work, try a slight amount of water. if that doesn't work, then try a bit of interior protectant.

hope this helps. good luck

Try some meguiars spray quik wax for the water spots...

For the interior marks on the door, try meguiars quik detailer...

I noticed Wally World had a package deal with a bottle of each for like 8 bucks the other night.

Yeeep, but some liquid wax on it. It don't matter which brand. Don't let it dry. Used a towel and rub it in a swirling movement until it clear. If that kinder fail used scratch remover liquid wax.

That my trick. That why I prefer wash myself. It take me less than 1 hrs to wash, dry ,wax and buff the car. I'm not extreme like some people. Some could spend 2-4 hrs. There was this guy waxing and buffing his BMW at car wash for 3.5 hrs. Reason I know that. I left the car wash, went to lunch, stop over Circuit City and Bestbuy. Talk and drink coffee with a friend at Starbuck. Heading back home by passing by the carwash. I notice he still there cleaning his car.
