Cool JUST WASHED nhb SI

sup guys, i just washed and waxed my si for the first time. i used black magic liquid wax and eagle one's nanowax along with wax as you dry. 3 coats of different waxes doing their thing. it turned out really good, long ass process. But, a buffer REALLY helped (microfiber bonnet).

Looks good!

Did you have any trouble with mixing 3 different waxes on top of each other? Did it get smeary at all?

no i didn't mix them...i put a coat of the black magic on, then buffed it out. then i put a coat of the nano wax on, buffed it out. then i used wax as your dry because its a good finisher, and buffed it out. then i put on the microfiber bonnet and just buffed with that alone to get any smudges or left overs out. THEN i used a polishing towel as a final step. took me about 4hrs to do all this

Try meguires car show glaze #7 with a top coat of your black magic wax. Also buying a Porter Cable 7424 would be a good investment. Check out www.autogeek.net for alot of good products. The Poorboys brand on the site is also very good. Your detail job looks great though. I wish my nhbp 01 civic still looked that good.
