what he said. ^

scratch x needs a crapload of elbow grease though. dont just expect to rub it on and wipe it off and scratch be gone! you need to work it in for a while.

Would Turtle wax color cure work better/faster than Scratch X?

like most of us said... is it a scratch that you can feel (into the clearcoat) or is just a bunch of swirls that you'd like to remove?
if its into the clearcoat, theirs not much you can do about it no matter what product you use except to use touch up paint, or to repaint your panel but thats a waste of money.

if its swirls, you can use both... i personally am not a fan of turtle wax, mainly because their are other products out there that can do the same job better. scratch-x should be applied by hand, but to do an entire car would take you more than you think... imagine elbow grease into a little foam applicator on every panel of your car...

maybe tell us what kind of a scratch it is first, then we can help better.

like we said. depending on teh size of ur swrils/scratches, it all takes a while

if you get a porter cable Dual action buffer, your problems will be solved pretty quickly. although, it's not recommended that you use stratch x on this application. there speciif polishes to use.

www.autopia.org is you choice of swirl free entertainment.

Thanks alot everybody, I appreciate the tips. Its in the clearcoat but I haven't taken any photos or dealt with it yet. I have to go back into the dealer, I think something funny is going on with my financing and its been stressing me out since this is my first new car.

Thanks again though for the advice and I will try to post up some pics of it here.
