I use Rain-X on my windows and headlights, but I don't use the car wash. I think I bought it once (as well as the wipers) and noticed nothing different.

I agree. I found this about 5 years ago when i worked at Advance Autoand haven't used anything different since then. Its just so easy for a lazy ass like me to get a half way decent looking car w/o having to spend all day waxing it.

I dunno, I could've sworn it said you can use it on headlights, foglights, and windows or mirrors?

I'll have to check. In any case, I haven't applied any lately, but if I was mistaken, I won't do it anymore.

I use rain-x for windows and lights too.. not the wash, might try it though now that you mentioned it.

rain-x stuff is great overall... I can cruise on the freeway at 80mph in pouring rain without using my wipers and have good visibility.

you can also use some water-based spray-on waxes (like Griot's Garage
SprayOnWax) and have similar effect.

imo, much easier to apply and buff than regular window Rain-X.

RainX from my experience was hard to buff... and when you use
water to buff (per instructions), majority of the stuff comes off...

if anyone local chi-town wants my remaining bottle, let me know.
you can have it. lol....
