I wake my ass up at 7AM to clean my car before the sun comes over my house and it gets really hot. I hate cleaning when its hot as hell, I sweat too much and make a mess while i clean.

You guys are going to love next weeks tip. OHSiGuy already knows what it is!
HA!!! Yeah, brah...I'm pretty sure I know. Bought the stuff on the way home Friday!

Personally, I plan on listening to EVERY piece of detailing advice BLU BY U puts out there. Each time, I've seen his FBP Si, it makes me SICK because my car doesn't look as good!

In fact, after seeing his car on Friday, I waxed my GG yesterday!!

Ok so I bought both to see which is better, them, and the windex I originally had.
Out of the three, i'd have to say that perfect glass IS the best one. It's the easiest to clean using the same process. That being said, I don't think its worth it to go out n buy a new glass cleaner if you already have one. Perfect glass will no doubt make it easier, but not by much. So if you already have windex or invisible glass (windex>invisible glass imo) then just stick with it until you run out.

I bought a 4 pack of stoners for $5 at Sams Club the other day. What are you using to dry the windows? I use microfibre and have zero streaking. I'll have to try this perfect glass when I run out of stoners.

I normally use stoners but was at Lowes today so I grabbed a bottle of the perfect glass and I too now agree this stuff works better (less hazing) than anything else I previously used. Great tip BBY.

lol, shouldn't be cleaning windows in that kind of heat anyways. The cleaner will evaporate.

Because of this thread, I went and bought a bottle of Perfect Glass. I'm really pleased with the results. Good find, Blu.

I can't see stoners really being good at cleaning stuff. I mean, "dude, the swirls are so cool. It's like a ghost painting on the windshield man."
Plus, stoners are usually in a haze anyway.

I absolutley suck at cleaning glass......it's my most hated part of cleaning my car. I can detail the hell out of everything but my glass always looks hazy and streaky. I've tried everything from windex streak free to armour-all glass wipes. Insert Perfect GLass, my fiance found it at bed bath and beyond a little while ago. Just apply it and wipe it off like normal glass cleaner, no haze or streaks to buff out so you dont have to get your arm tired cleaning the lower part of our gigantic windshield, safe on plastic too so you dont have to worry about overspray ruining the interior.

do you got tints on your car cause if ya do make shure that dont got ammonia i got some really good glass cleaner if ya want a can i can get ya and ill bring it to the meet at quaker. If ya have tints ill bring it otherwise that stuff look good

I've been frustrated a lot with Invisible glass. Wipe and wipe and wipe; still pops up as haze is spots. It helps if you only use paper towels and not microfiber or other cloths. It also helps to spray a little water before wiping off. But now, I will have to try PerfectGlass.

I am more fussy about window glass than anything else in my car! I tried a ton of different options and have been using Stoners Invisible glass for quite a while now... it was the best I could find to remove cig smoke haze from my tinted windows.

Oh by the way, I use microfiber towels specially designed for window glass and wrap them over a small plastice squegee. The squegee assured that i had pressure spread out well and gets into spots like right above the speedo... a pretty good solution actually.

Unfortunately, there is still a ton of room for improvement - streaks show up after you have wiped and wiped. Grrr!

I will be buying perfect glass tomorrow if it is tint safe. Hope it is!

Thanks for this.

This stuff really is good, maybe not perfect, but pretty close to perfect. One thing now that is driving me crazy is the piece of windshield by the speedometer, right where it meets the dash. I cannot get that part as clean as the rest because I cannot jam my hand in such a tiny space! I will have to go Macgyver next weekend and figure what tool I will need to clean that spot. Unless someone else has some useful tip on how they did it?
