First time waxing my DX

I waxed my car for the first time since I got it. Only have around 2000kms but we had so many bugs here at night that my bumper and hood was full of shit. Anyway, here's the results.

Removing the dealer stickers

There's lot of bugs in my area and we had a hard time removing everything..

Foam Party !!

After two layers of glaze

Final results!

Yeah what the hell I want some of these tools haha!

Anyone dry their car with an electric leaf blower? About how long would you say that takes? I would wash my car daily if it wasnt for cloth drying

Autogeek Half Gallon Foam Gun with FREE BONUS

I plan on buying one of these very soon also. Right now im only using the 2 bucket method.

I dry my car with the vacuum. Just switch the hose around so it blows and ta-da! I dry the car using the flooding method, then use a cobra guzzler MF cloth. Then use the vacuum to get water out of all the cracks.

To wash my car, I would guess it takes me almost an hour. Setup, wash, dry, vacuum, quick detail, interior detail, clean up.

OP, nice job. Car looks really good. What is your impression of Klasse? Does it go on and off easily? How would you compare it to other similar products?

I forgot to add the nicest pic IMO Check out my first post!

To dry the car I'm using the Original California Dry Blade (squeegee-like) and it's wonderful! It's only 13$ on autogeek.

And I used Klasse High Gloss Sealant Glaze ONLY on the glasses and inside the door (not sure how to correctly say this in english) because this wax is a highly concentrated acrylic formula. This sealant last for a long time but you have to wait 8 hours before applying an additional coat. That's why I used Collonite natural wax.

I am so mad at myself because I bought a Sears Craftsman 6.5 hp vac that has a 265 mph blower attachment. It works like a piece of crap. I bought the vac specifically to blow dry my car. It barely can keep up with the water drying on the car. After trying a couple of times to dry my car w/o towels, I gave up. I went back to the old faithful mf waffle weave towels.

Now I am stuck with a big, cumbersome vac that is too bulky to use to vac my car with.

hey the car looks nice!

as far as the foaming gun, i recently started using the Griot's new waterhose
nozzle that you just put your car shampoo in. it foams up the soap real nice
and makes the wash very fast. i only use it on my dd's though.

i'd still use the 2 bucket method for my hobby cars cause the consistency
in the foam changes (gets weaker) as the shampoo content gets used up
in those spray guns. with 2bucket method, your shampoo content is
pretty consistent throughout the wash.

its like using compressed air cans for airbrushes. lol

I use the foam to get all the dust off the car...or all the biggest "piece" of dust should I say. After the 'foaming' I wash the car with two buckets
