switching back to water mode is easier on your back than dabbing your

works fine.

btw: i use 4oz of Griot's CarWash to do 2 cars. that's less than using 2 buckets
worth of shampoo.
No it's the Lowes model. Dont know what brand. I ddont feel like going outside to check

When switched back to water mode, it still shoots out soap for a couple of seconds. To switch it back, i need to free up a hand so i have to put my sponge down. Too much work finding a clean spot to put it down. Then i have to pick it back up to spray it to clean it.

I filled mine up to the top I think 8 oz. It ran out as i was just finishing up.

My soap/water mix just seemed too watered down and the water kept on rinsing the soap it sprayed. I put it on "MIX"

Wait... how does your knob look? (no hom0) Mine says:

MIX >>>>>>WATER

Does MIX mean 50/50? Does the smaller arrow mean different ratios? I didnt experiment enough... does the soap only come out when in "MIX"

yah, if you're still up for it you should try the Griot's one. it has variable
mixture (although i only use full strength for dispensing shampoo).

when i set mine to water to rinse the mitt during the wash it does mix
shampoo for about 2sec, but that's okay cause im blasting the grit out
of the mitt, not the shampoo. after that 2sec, its only water. i know
cause ive sprayed without the bottle and there's no water coming out
from the valve.

i can turn the top dial while my mitt is still in my hand. not sure why you'd
need to put it down somewhere. the only time i put down my mitt is when
im done washing.

Ohhh mine is different then. I dont use a mitt. I have a chenille sponge. I have small hands so i cant do multiple things with 1 hand lol

For those of you who don't have the luxury of a garage or carport, how often do you detail your cars?
I was doing it every wash for about 2 months or so. Then I cooled down, havnt waxed in alittle, its still beading when it rains so theres still wax on it so im not worried about it. I use the Z6 and Grand Finale everytime I wash

Got to get that nozzle above though. I could use to do a little less work washing the thing....
I thought about a car cover, but I don't think I will be able to not scratch my paint with it...plus it may dirty up my trunk. I've recently used Klasse SG and that seems to not only leave a great shine on the car, it appears to leave pretty solid protection.
