The invoice pricing for the Si hasn't been released yet.

Here's something I thought I would throw out. Ok my current civ is an 01 on a lease (sigh, i know) it's up in July. Would I have a chance at getting a good deal if I buy from the same dealership?

^^^ Sometimes if your same salesman is there, they'll work with you a little more - repeat business. It can't hurt.

I think so, seeing as how you got the Navi.

They are selling for thousands over MSRP here in Jacksonville Florida. They want 25-26 thousand for the SI if you can even find one. I had to give a arm and a leg to get a used 2006 Civic SI with 3844 miles on it.

i think its hard to find a dealership who will be willing to give you the invoice price. these cars are hot and they know it so they don't care if you walk away coz people are lining up and ready to pay above msrp just to get behind on one these.

I just purchased a new 07 Si from Honda of Escondido. They are the only dealer (that I'm aware of) in San Diego county that is not asking over MSRP for these cars. They are a very classy dealership by the way, and I understand the high demand for these cars right now. Local dealers are currently receiving an allocation of 2 cars per month, and I see no reason why any of them should feel obligated to sell these cars for less than MSRP.

Personally, I would never buy a vehicle from a dealership that asks for a premium over sticker price, even if the car I'm purchasing is not marked-up. My advice to anybody looking for a new Si, is to work your trade. I was able to get an additional $500 for my high-mile 2000 Celica GTS over any other dealer's offer.

Overall, I feel that I got a fair deal, and their customer service reinforced that. The car is a fantastic value anyways. My Celica stickered at nearly $26,000 6 years ago, and is not nearly as sofisticated as my Si.

I got quoted MSRP of 21885 and unwilling to budge, this dealer was willing to work on the trade though, I had him +$200 over KBB excellent condition.
