Umm, just curious. It says for the:

R18 "16-Valve SOHC i-VTEC®"
K20 "16-Valve DOHC i-VTEC®"
Hybrid "8-Valve SOHC i-VTEC®"

Does the R18s single cam really push 16 valves? If so thats news to me , always thought single cams ran 8 valves.

An R18 is like a kid picking his nose 16 times with one finger...

A K20Z3 is like a kid picking his nose with 16 times with two fingers...

Actually the SOHC 16V design is suppose to be more energy efficient then the DOHC 16V. Wierd eh?

First time I heard of this was in my Suzuki X90... SOHC 16V 1.6L.... that got 20 MPG... maybe. So much for that idea.

^^ There might be some truth to that.

N/A motor builder/racer Bisi Ezhoria <sp> ran pretty deep into the 9's with his SOHC F series motors.

Ran an insight
