I hate having to re-adjust the seat and mirrors after state inspection...
Not really the dealer's fault, because the valet or tech who is driving the car to the inspection area in the garage might have to adjust the mirrors in order to see, but it still bugs me anyways.
I get my car back, get in the driver's seat, and find it pushed all the way back. The side mirrors are all showing me the pavement or something other than what is to the side of my car. ![]() I did take a proactive step this time... I put a sticker on the outside of the seatbelt connector (the part with the orange/red button), and put a corresponding sticker on the side of the center console. To move my seat back to the correct position, all I have to do is line up the stickers again. No more "counting clicks" on the rail, which doesn't always work well for me. Thankfully, seatback angle and steering wheel don't seem to have been adjusted. |
