Curious if this is a good price:
08 LX Coupe - MT - Galaxy Gray - $16895 + Tax (6.5% in MN) Tried to get the dealer to budge over the phone, and they had none of it. Should I stop by after work to seal the deal? They claimed this was the last MT coupe they had (it's currently in-transit). They are only buying 09s from here on out. Claimed that they couldn't keep them on the lot. (edit/update: Lowered the price by $100 after pitting two dealers against each other) Last edited by xotis; 08-13-2008 at 11:01 AM. |

I just recently purchased mine from a Honda dealership in Central California. I saw it online and went to check it out the next day.
2006 Honda Civic Si - Coupe, Alabaster Silver Metallic Mileage: 38,XXX Navigation, Fog lights, 8-disc CD changer, spoiler When we arrived the price on the car was $19,950, my father and I were able to get them to go down to $17,450 (before taxes and what-not of course). |

Hey guys, I just now registered to this forum but I have been looking in this forum for quite sometime now. I recently got quoted for 2008 honda civic lx , auto, coupe, for $18,500 OTD. Is that good enough price for me to get the car or should I wait a little bit more? My first quote was $19,956 LOL.

Go for it ... the 09s are either on their way, or have shown up at dealerships already, so they're going to give a good deal on an 08, just to get the space on their lot. This coming Model Year will be interesting ... if the gas prices stay high enough to prod people into buying smaller, more fuel-efficient cars (but not high enough to slow/stop the economy like it did when gas was $4 a gallon), the Civic deals of the past may be just that ... in the past.
