Going there on Saturday.

Looking to get 08 coupe w/ navi in silver...probably auto, but I'll take stick if they can't get me auto.

I want to aim for $19.5k or so. Sound fair?
Try to push the fact that you'll take a stick. They're probably going to push the fact that civics are selling like hotcakes right now, which is true- but there's a lot less demand for sticks, and thus the price on a stick *should be lower.

Good luck, let us know how you do.
Well after talking to one of guys on here that got a really good deal on his, I decided to wait it out until the dealers around here have what I'm looking for.

The dealer i was going to go to today was going to try to get the car from another dealer which is a no no.

carbuyingtips.com gives some good advice.

Hopefully they have something like the 1.9% APR again this summer or fall.

Yeah I guess I could do that too. I just wanted a break since my last 2 cars have been stick.

$19.3k + Dest Chg +TTL for NHBP Si Sedan no navi w/ 2.9 @ 60 mo. AHFC

Guys and Gals, use this:

Car Buying Tips at Edmunds.com

and...

Edmunds.com - 2008 Honda Civic Car Pricing Guide

Know the invoice price. Know that Honda kicks 3% back to the dealers.

Things are getting very tough in Atlanta. I did the internet quotes thing on Edmunds.com
to about 10 different Honda dealerships in and around town. Went round and around for 2 days. EVERY reply talked about the incredible sales of Civics, extremely low inventory, and supply and demand. I was very clear in my emails that I wanted to get an OTD price of 18.5K (thats with a 7% tax rate here).

Half of the dealers wouldn't give me a quote, basically saying they wanted MSRP or MORE! Several quoted 20K+ OTD. One dude even laughed at me for daring to ask for such a low price, saying I must not know the market we're in and that I must have just started looking (I payed him back later .

Willett Honda met my price and Mr. Carlos V. (internet guru) was a pleasure to do business with. Bought my wife her 2008 Atomic Blue LX sedan, auto, Thursday night and happy with the purchase. Honorable mention to Nalley Honda for a 19K OTD quote w/lifetime 3rd party powertrain warranty. Mrs. Martha S. was wonderful and helpful in her emails.

I'll tell you, deals are hard to come by now. Good luck.

Hey, in my area there's a 2008 Mugen Civic Si for sale FBP with 3,346 miles advertised for $17,042. What does everyone think about this? Good deal? I know the saying, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. I'm going to look at it tomorrow but there doesn't seem to be anything wrong with it. Could it be they just don't know what they have?

I paid invoice (21,027) for a NHB 08 SI w/ navi. Car had 20 miles on it and came with splahguards/wheel locks essentially for free. 21,027 was exactly invoice for a 08 SI w/ navi without the splashguards and wheel locks. I got a smokin' deal and didn't have any connections at the dealership or anything...I just used the walk-out-the-door method and sure enough they came running after me! I decided to buy lo-jack for $500 extra because of the low price. I put down 11,500...if that matters.

19,900 including destination for (leftover) '07 Si Sedan (42 miles) with Navigation and summer tires. Dealer fees were about 270. I bought it in the Boston area; registered in NY (and paid 8.75% tax); then drove it to North Carolina, where I'm working as a contractor.
