Holy crap, I got a sick deal after reading some of these prices. 06 Si w/o Nav $19K OTD. Granted it was a pre-order before they had been built so the dealer couldn't charge me more then MSRP.

Went down to Buffalo from Toronto to pick up my civic. 24k CDN on the road w/ Ontario plates. new 07 TW Si coupe w/ summer tires & wheel locks. Would have paid close to 30k in Toronto and the Canadian model doesn't even have VSA.

i paid $21,090 +taxes and and stufftotal was $23k and change. they had a white four door when i was at the dealership the first time for $22k and i told them i would look around. found a used 06 for $17k (at a ford dealership i use to work for) went back to honda and they had a fiji blue coupe for $23k (after telling me they wouldnt have any more cars come in until late october) i asked about it and they said it was a dealer transfer, (they knew i wanted a coupe so when they got a call from another dealer wanting a van they told them they wanted a coupe). i told the salesman i wasnt paying $23k for a civic and that i was going to go purchase the used one i found (it was $23 because of destination charges, dealer prep and the all season package and something else) he went inside and the car was mine for $21 if i still wanted it. it had 130 miles on it and was still warm from the trip up here. oh and the used one i fouond had 65k on it and i wasnt interested it at all, i was actually going to buy a 2004 jeep wrangler sitting on 35"s if i didnt get the civic.

cow town

I live in Denver and drove a hundred miles to a cow town and got a new 06 Si with summer tires for $19.900. The cheapest in the city was $27.000. They couldent give them away in Greeley. Buy your car in a rual area and beat the markup!!!! Now the sedans have normal pricing but the two doors are still in the stratosphere in Denver. If I bought today I would get a sedan
and save eight grand or so.
