i got a quote at long beach honda, they listed the lx sedans at 16,915 and 18,527 for ex. im sure its still negotiable.
i bought a nbp coupe for 17,100 last september w/ a different dealer. i got carried away coz at that time they are the only one in 100-mile radius that has nbp. when i called my salesman last week to inquire about the rallye red si w/ navi they have, i was dumbfounded for he is willing to sell it to me for 21,545 or near the invoice price. i should've waited a little while. i would've been driving a 197-hp compare to a 140-hp im driving right now. but its ok... better luck next time, i guess. |

The dealership was Landmark Honda in Alexandria, VA. My negotiations consisted of sending emails to all the dealers in the area. In the email I made sure to tell them that I knew what the invoice price and holdback were and told them that the lowest price would win my business. Only like 3 dealers out of 9 emailed me back with a price, and that was the lowest. I went to the dealership, test drove the car, and then bought it. No haggling at all.
Check out www.carbuyingtips.com and www.fightingchance.com. They have some good information on negotiating a good price.

I just bought an '07 GG EX Coupe Automatic yesterday. Took some negotiation but the final price was $18,200 including destination and doc fees. Only additional cost was $115 for title and plates plus tax (5% in MA).
My strategy was faxing dealers in the Northeast for the best price and then I went to my local Honda dealer and asked them to match it. Best of luck to others in deal hunting. |

My '07 SI in Fiji Blue Pearl
I paid just under MSRP for mine. The sticker was 21,650 and I got it for 21,500. This was after a lot, and I mean, a lot of haggling. There were other dealers trying to sell them for 24,500 and the only thing they had added were pinstripes (which were ugly as hell!) and mud flaps (which are also ugly as hell!).

I paid 24,300 for my ASM Si at Long Beach Honda, they had those add ons that I didn't want, told them to take them off, but they wouldn't budge with my request. Got wheel locks, mudflaps, trunktray and also that protective coating for my paint ( that shit cost 600 bucks itself!!) the add ons cost me about 300-400, i forgot.
