I'd get one if the interior wasn't absolutely horrific. But if they came with a stock turbo and was 23,000 i wouldn't be here talking about the Si.
Only gripes I have about the tC are:

1. Seats dont you for crap. You take a turn and slide all over the place.
2. Nowhere to put you left arm when driving. Window is too high and arm rest is too low.
3. Full glass top makes it a real pain to mount satellite radio antenna.

But on the plus side.

1. Can you say stock projectors?
2. Premium stereo system owns the Si premium stereo
3. Dealer options up the wazoo!!!
4. As you said, ton of room in the bay.

lol... hope this doesn't turn into like the 1000th tc vs si argument. But it was really the shitty interior and the lack of speed and %100 lack of aural or visual stimulation. Granted I could have modded it to fix some of that, the si came out of the box lookin, sounding, and driving hot. After all the crap I was gunna put on the Tc it came out to be the same cost per month with a shitty APR.

Oh and the salesman assumed I sold drugs... lol jk

I hate the tC vs Civic threads. They are both (base model Civic of course) comparable and pretty much just come down to opinion. I wouldnt hesitate on buying either as a DD if I got a good deal.

to be honest I think modded TC's > Modded Si's.

I just hate the Beatle looking front end of the Si's the curved dip is gross i much prefer the old flat style.

Less curve looked so much sexier:

Yeah because i don't plan to drive it stock I almost worth telling the dealer to not worry about the warranty:

Mod List:

Greddy Turbo
Skunk2 Mega R
JDM-R Wing
CF Hood
CF Trunk
Prob some gram lights
HFP Kit Front/Rear

I don't expect it to look like it does stock within a month of purchasing it.

I just have trouble with colors and the front end everything else is

I'm sure you'll see me loving it after all the changes...100 drooling threads

I'm waiting to hear back from them been in email talks for a while. I use Greddy just as a reference that a turbo is being put in the car. if AJP is priced right then it'll be them. That i might keep a surprise

Their kits are known for not working unless they tune them. Even if you drive down there to have it installed and tuned, when you go back to NJ it will need to be re-tuned and probably not run right afterwards.

Very True but its still also a problem for my Greddy i only know one tuning place around here and don't know them well.

I'd need to find a place in NJ that installs Turbos, Tunes, dynojet and has Hondata Reflash I honestly when that time comes hoping the North East community will help me find the right people.

Ahh you may be right...i think it does have to be flashed back to stock.

Question is how do i go about adjusting my speed limiter (the 133mph pin which imo is the dumbest thing alive or did they remove it I know it used to be in the Si's.) isnt that done thru the Hondata?

No, it is still there Im pretty sure. Reflash lowers your VTEC engagement, raises rev limiter and smooths cross over.

Yeah but i thought the speed limiter could be altered as well since its all done thru the same thing?

If not how would you go about removing the speed limiter? Cause thats GOT TO GO 133 is too slow for me way to slow.
